Martha Stewart Shows Off ‘Superb’ New Haircut in Rare Makeup-Free Moment

Martha Stewart is going au naturale!

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the lifestyle expert, 83, took to Instagram Stories to share her new hair look — and a rare makeup-free moment.

In a mirror selfie, Stewart shows off her bright and bouncy blonde bob, a refresh of her signature style. Her stylists, whom she tagged in the post, stand behind her. “Color by @parvinklein, superb haircut by Katsu at the elegant salon of @julienfarel in the Regency hotel,” she wrote over the image.

In the photo, Stewart appears to be wearing little to no makeup, a departure from her usual glam look.

The businesswoman recently starred in a beauty campaign for MAC titled “I Only Wear MAC, in which she leaned into the brand’s nude shades by posing for some of her trademark thirst traps.

In one photo, Stewart is made to look like she’s taking a glam selfie in her pajamas while wearing her MAC Cosmetics nude shades. She’s rocking the M·A·CXIMAL Sleek Satin Lipstick in Fleshpot, which she was a huge fan of.

“[The photos are] charming and I think they’ll get some attention,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively with of the cheeky campaign. “I love what I look like in these pictures. They’re almost selfie-like. This fabulous nude color lipstick really makes the face. It’s a beautiful color.”

In November 2024, Stewart shared her go-to beauty routine in a makeup tutorial video for Allure.

The star shared her “secret” discontinued product. “This is my secret for every day,” she says while holding up a tube of LeClerc liquid liner. “It’s not made anymore. It’s probably 15 or 20 years old. I have five of these, which I cherish.”

“I just keep adding water to it,” she explains. “It has not dried out, incredibly.”

Stewart applies the “silvery, gray-brown” liner to her top and bottom lash lines, “just to make my eyes look a little bit wider.”

Of her makeup routine, the author says, “My makeup artist Daisy’s watching and she’s probably cringing at what I do.”
