Martha Stewart is unlikely to ever forget working with Matthew McConaughey!
The 83-year-old entrepreneur and podcast host appeared in Uber Eatsâ Super Bowl ad alongside the Oscar-winning actor last month. In the commercial, McConaughey played a variety of characters and interacted with Stewart during a scene in a board meeting.
During the March 13 episode of her self-titled podcast, Stewart told McConaugheyâs How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days costar Kate Hudson that he âscaredâ her on set and explained how.
âHe got me scared, actually. He scared me,â Stewart admitted, referring to McConaughey as a âmethod actor.â
âHe had to play 10 characters, and he got into each character,â Stewart continued, noting that it took âabout 15 minutesâ for him to get into the role and prep himself for filming.
âHeâs grunting and breathing and jumping up and down,â Stewart said. âThat scared me.â
Hudson, 45, confirmed that her Foolâs Gold costar did make âweird soundsâand did âcrazy thingsâ while getting ready to film, saying, âYou get used to it after the first couple weeks.â
âYou probably just wanted to tell him to shut the hell up,â Stewart said with a laugh in response.

The actress then went on to praise her costar, saying that they had a great time working together.
âMcConaugheyâs like one of the most fun people to work with because energetically weâre both very competitive. We have this thing when weâre working together thatâs really fun,â she said. âAlso, weâre both very flirtatious ⊠Heâs super charismatic.â
Stewart wasnât the only other celebrity cameo in the Uber Eats commercial. The clip also featured appearances from the likes of Charli xcx, Kevin Bacon, Greta Gerwig and Sean Evans.
