Martha Stewart has a few beauty tricks up her sleeve, but none of them have ever involved plastic surgery.
âI have good genes. My mom looked great at 95,â Stewart, 85, told People in her Wednesday, August 5, cover story, which recreated her 1995 photoshoot with the magazine in which she posed with one of her chickens.
âWe eat well. We donât drink very much. We donât smoke. We eat healthy food. We exercise daily. I horseback-ride,â the home and hospitality icon continued.
When asked if sheâs had any cosmetic procedures, Stewart noted, âI go to Dr. Dan Belkin in New York City. He is a very superb dermatologist. And I use a little bit of fillers. I go maybe once every four months for touch-ups.â
The TV personality insisted, despite online speculation to the contrary, that she has ânot had any plastic surgery at all.â
âI donât think I need it,â she continued. âI do facial exercises and have the best facials from Mario Badescu and Georgia Louise. Peptides are very good. I take a few peptides. So thatâs what I do. Iâm more a maintenance kind of person. Iâm not getting boobs done and hips and butts and stuff like that.â
Stewartâs comments came one day after she shared a steamy photo of herself spending time in a hot tub. The Martha Manual author wore a black swimsuit as she pursed her lips at the camera.
âI am going to use this amazing hot tub every single day I am in Maine,â she captioned the post, calling it âinvigorating, restorative [and] therapeutic.â
Stewart has been adamant about her stance on plastic surgery for years. Back in 2023, she denied speculation about her cosmetic work after she posed on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
âIâve had absolutely no plastic surgery whatsoever,â she told Variety at the time. âI have very healthy, good hair. I drink green juice every day. I take my vitamins. I eat very healthfully. I have very good skin doctors. Iâm very careful in the sun. I wear hats and I wear sunblock every single day.â
In February 2024, Stewart said she uses Botox and facial fillers âvery conservatively.â
Stewart addressed the claims again back in January.
âEverybody insists that Iâve had plastic surgery and I have not ever had plastic surgery,â she told People. âIâm the most honest person on earth â but if they wonât take my word for it, I donât know. How can they not take my word for it? Thatâs the truth!â
