Being Mark Wahlbergâs daughter sure has its perks.
The Ted actorâs youngest daughter, Grace, rang in her milestone 16th birthday earlier this year, and as she starts learning how to drive, it seems sheâs using quite the luxury car to do so.
In addition to the 16-year-old, the former rapper and his wife Rhea Durham, who he married in 2009, are also parents to daughter Ella, 21, and sons Michael, 19, and Brendan, 16.
Over the weekend, Rhea, who along with Mark and the kids is based in Las Vegas, took to Instagram and shared a round-up of her February, starting off with a photo of her and Mark, seemingly at home, and one of their Boston Terriers, who is trying to get their attention.
Further down the carousel of photos was one of Grace, clad in a Balenciaga sweater from their logo-mania era some years ago, driving a Rolls Royce.
Rhea also included another photo of her in the same outfit next to her brother Brendan, as well as a selfie of herself and Mark with their Ash Wednesday crosses on their forehead.
Fans were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and marvel over how quickly Grace has grown up, with one writing: âCanât believe it!! Gracie is driving! How time flies,â as others followed suit with: âLove your beautiful family,â and: âOmg!! God bless you and your family!!! Youâre absolutely amazing,â as well as: âSo wholesome!â
Little is known about Rhea and Markâs sons and whether their eldest, Michael, is currently in college. Grace is an avid horseback rider, and late last year recovered from an injury, of which Mark told Access Hollywood: âSheâs doing great. It was terrifying. Itâs a very, very dangerous sport, but sheâs so passionate about it.â
Meanwhile her older sister Ella is a student at Clemson in South Carolina. âSheâs just so happy there,â he said in 2023 speaking with TODAY.
âSheâs really thriving so I understand. Obviously, itâs more difficult for moms, because when you have a child, your own existence revolves around taking care and nurturing this child and helping them grow. But youâre giving life and they go off and do their thing, and hopefully, they come back and spend time with you,â he added.
The Wahlberg-Durham family has been living in Las Vegas since 2022, and have gushed about the decision. Mark, opening up about leaving Los Angeles during an appearance on TODAY in 2023, noted: âYou have Las Vegas, and people think automatically, âOh, the Strip.â But [in] Nevada, there are wonderful communities.â
Though he admitted to missing California and its weather, he added that the kids âare thrivingâ in their new hometown, and further shared: âI live in a wonderful community thatâs really faith-based, great schools. Thereâs much more to Las Vegas than the Strip.â
