Mark Consuelos has revealed he is undergoing “major” surgery after living with a painful health issue for the past year.
The 55-year-old shared the unexpected update during Friday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark , telling viewers that he was heading straight from the studio to have an operation on his toe.
“Today’s the day,” Mark announced on the September 25 show. “I’ve been putting off this toe surgery for about a year.”
His wife and co-host Kelly Ripa, 55, confirmed that she would be accompanying him for the procedure – although she couldn’t resist having some fun at her husband’s expense.
