Mariah Carey canceled her Pittsburgh concert hours before she was scheduled to perform on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” singer, 55, announced the news on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that she came down with the flu.

“Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu,” she wrote. “It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much.”

The superstar singer was set to perform at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena for Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time tour. TicketMaster also noted the cancelation on its website, telling ticket buyers they will be issued a full refund.

Her next scheduled date is Friday, Dec. 13, at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. It’s unclear if she will be able to perform for this show.

It doesn’t appear that she’s rescheduled her Pittsburgh concert.

The cancelation comes after Carey’s popular holiday hit, “All I Want for Christmas You,” returned to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week.

Her 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, celebrated the achievement by surprising Carey with flowers at her Raleigh, N.C., show on Monday, Dec. 9.

The proud mom shared the sweet moment on Instagram.

“Last night on stage in Raleigh, North Carolina, I found out that All I Want For Christmas Is You returned to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100,” she wrote. “I couldn’t have dreamed of a better time or place to celebrate the news than on stage with my amazing fans, my kids and my #Christmastime tour family. I love you and am so grateful to you all ❤️❤️❤️ M.”
