Margot Robbie’s “Wuthering Heights” era keeps getting bolder and bolder.
Robbie reached into the archives for her latest Victorian-inspired look when she touched down in London for a photo call ahead of the premiere.
Pulling a full look straight from the John Galliano’s spring/summer 1992 runway, the actress rocked a silk brocade duster coat, held together by four hook-and-eye closures at her sternum and leaving her midriff bare.
The green garment was accented by pink feathered material at the cuffs and collar.
Underneath, as was presented 34 years ago, Robbie wore a black micro-mini skirt and red thigh-high stockings tied with a pink silk ribbon at the top of each thigh.
She finished the look off with pale blue-gray satin d’Orsay heels and pearl drop earrings.
Robbie arguably started the method dressing trend with 2023’s “Barbie” press tour. Together with stylist Andrew Mukamal, the pair have taken Robbie’s on-screen characters on the red carpet like few others in the past, allowing for the sartorial play to be on full display for the lead-up to each film’s release.
Less than a week into her current promotional tour, Robbie has more than made her mark with her odes to Catherine Earnshaw from the Emily Brontë novel, of which the film is adapted.
We’ve seen multiple corseted looks, gathered ballgowns and sheer lace ruffles in Los Angeles, Paris and more.
And as for the jewelry? She’s bringing her A-game to that category as well.
The actress chose Elizabeth Taylor’s Cartier “Taj Mahal” necklace in California, featuring a heart-shaped diamond that weighs 69.42 carats.
Just two days ago, she went big with diamonds again, tying a red velvet choker around her neck with more than 100 carats of Lorraine Schwartz stones.
With more than a week until the film hits theaters, we’re bursting at the (bustled) seams to see what else Robbie pulls out of her wardrobe.
