Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, just added whisper-thin mesh and exposed underwear to her sartorial agenda, as she stepped out wearing a daring ensemble during Paris Fashion Week. Â
The 29-year-old graced the Ottolinger fall/winter 2026 show in a look that oozed risqué style on March 8. Lourdes wore a sheer black maxi dress featuring intricate stitch detailing from the high neckline down to the hem. She went braless, wearing only a black thong underneath, and draped a black jacket over one shoulder, completing the look with a patent leather handbag.
Lourdes’ luscious raven locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye, a pinch of blush, and a glossy lip.
The naked dress
The star’s daring ensemble arrives after a year where the naked dress reigned supreme. Standout moments included Margot Robbie’s jeweled custom Armani Privé look, Dakota Johnson and Demi Moore’s lace creations by Gucci, and Lily Allen’s striking Coleen Allen ‘revenge dress’.
At its core, the trend is defined by its barely-there materials, sheer mesh, metallic knits, chainmail, lace, and airy organza all play a part in its ethereal appeal.
As a fashion writer, I’ve been analyzing Lourdes’ history with naked dressing and this isn’t the first time she has embraced whisper-thin materials and sultry attire. Just a day earlier, Lourdes attended the Ann Demeulemeester show in a black dress featuring a sheer skirt. The sleeveless top was adorned with metallic stud buttons, flowing into a barely-there skirt with a thigh-high slit and delicate lace detailing. The look was completed with knee-high black leather boots.
Fashion Week
Earlier in the week she also attended the Saint Laurent womenswear fall/winter 2026 show. For the event, she donned a glossy mustard-yellow belted dress that featured a high neckline and a softly structured silhouette. The garment was cinched by a matching belt and was cut elegantly at the knee. Lourdes styled the look with burgundy pointed-toe heels and chunky gold statement earrings.
While Lourdes opted for a more covered look for the show, Saint Laurent debuted a slew of naked dresses on the runway. Bella Hadid graced the catwalk in a plunging burgundy bodysuit that featured intricate lace embroidery. The sultry garment was styled with a sheer black midi skirt that boasted the same lace detailing. The look was completed with razor-thin brown stockings and a pair of pointed-toe heels.Â
The show opened with eight trouser suits adorned with sloping shoulder silhouettes plucked from men’s tailoring. What followed was a series of silicone-crafted lingerie dresses, modeled by Bella and other runway stars.
