Madonna Celebrates Hanukkah With Kids and Rumored Boyfriend Akeem Morris in Rare Family Photo

Madonna was in the holiday spirit as she celebrated the seventh day of Hanukkah with her youngest daughters.

On Saturday, December 20, Madonna, 67, shared a photo via Instagram Stories of her rumored boyfriend, Akeem Morris, with her twins, Stella and Estere, 13.

In the picture, a beautiful silver menorah can be seen on a dining table adorned with candles, flowers and food as Morris, 29, sits next to Stella and Estere. Disco balls could also be seen hanging above them.

Although she didn’t write a caption over the photo, Madonna did post another snap of herself in a beige lingerie-style look as her blonde hair was styled down. “Insomniac….,” she shared.

Madonna adopted her youngest children, who were born in Malawi, when they were 5 in February 2017. She also has adopted daughter Mercy, 19, and shares adopted son David Banda, 20, and biological son Rocco, 25, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She is also mom to daughter Lourdes, 29, whom she shares with ex Carlos Leon.

The legendary pop star said her children are artistic and creative, just like her.

“I have always been blessed with children who are interested in music, dance, and art. Starting from the top with Lola, who was not only an incredible ballet dancer and a rhythmic gymnast, switching to musical theater and contemporary dance. Now she is a unique singer and song writer in her own right,” Madonna told W Magazine in 2024 while on The Celebration Tour, which her kids were a part of as they played instruments and danced on stage.

She added, “When I go on tour, nothing brings me more happiness to know, we are all working on the same show creating the magic together. It would be boring if they were just traveling from hotel to hotel, and occasionally coming to watch the show. Of course, I am also their mother so sometimes we get on each other’s nerves. We are a family of artists but are also a family and that’s what happens.”

As for her relationship with Morris, a New York–based soccer player born in Jamaica, Madonna has celebrated some big moments with her beau, including his 29th birthday in May and her 67th birthday in August.

“Happy Birthday to my favorite Taurus ♉️ @akkmorris,” Madonna captioned her tribute to Morris at the time, which included a photo of the pair with their arms wrapped around each other.

For her special day, Morris and two of Madonna’s daughters enjoyed a lavish getaway to Siena, Italy.

“My Dream for many years has been to watch the Palio horse race in Sienna [sic] that takes place on my birthday, Aug. 16, since 1482!!” she explained on Instagram alongside photos, adding, “Dreams do come true! Happy Birthday to me!!! ♥️ Ciao Italia!”

The pair first sparked romance rumors in July 2024 when Morris was seen in an Instagram post shared by Madonna to showcase her 4th of July celebrations, per People. The since-deleted post was followed by a New York City sighting in September 2024, with the pair photographed leaving a New York Fashion Week afterparty together in Soho.
