Love Is Blind alum Brennon Lemieux is speaking out for the first time since his split from estranged wife Alexa Lemieux.
“Being her dad is my favorite title ❤️,” Brennon, 35, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, Feburary 21, referring to daughter Vienna, and sharing a handful of father-daughter pics.
Alexa, 31, announced her separation from Brennon via Instagram in December 2025.
“After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage,” she wrote. “This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect and appreciation for the time we’ve shared.”
She added, “We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way.”
As they remain “committed to navigating this transition with compassion,” Alexa noted that she and Brennon will continue to be “devoted to our daughter,” Vienna — whom they welcomed in July 2024 — despite the fact that their “journey as a married couple is coming to an end.”
She concluded, “We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority.”
Us Weekly subsequently confirmed that Brennon filed for divorce from Alexa in November 2025.
According to Brennon’s petition, his marriage to Alexa had “become insupportable” due to “conflict of personalities” that prevented any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation.”
Brennon requested to retain any assets he had before he married Alexa. He also expressed his desire to reach a “written agreement” with Alexa for custody and child support arrangements for Vienna.
“If such an agreement is made, [Brennon] requests that the court approve that agreement and adopt it as the court’s order,” the filing, obtained by Us at the time, stated. “If such an agreement is not made, [he] requests the court to make orders for conservatorship of, possession of, access to and support of the child.”
Brennon and Alexa met in 2021 during season 3 of Love Is Blind, which aired on Netflix the following year. They tied the knot in June 2021.
During the show, the pair debated signing a prenuptial agreement, though they ultimately decided not to.
“We never had one. I also never asked for one,” Alexa said in a 2022 social media video. “It’s something that Brennon brought up and asked about getting one to protect me. It’s just something I wasn’t interested in doing.”
Indeed, Brennon shared his willingness to sign a prenup during a season 3 episode of Love Is Blind.
“You wanna write it? Just put whatever you want in that contract and it’s fine. I’ll sign it,” he said at the time, acknowledging that Alexa made more money than him. “My job is not my life. I wanna be, like, the coach of my kids. … I want to be involved in their lives for everything, and just like the thing with family dinner. We always sit down as a family whether we’re talking or not, but we always sit down [together].”
