Lizzo is sharing some cheeky new selfies â and some of her favorite Severance memes â as she continues her weight loss journey.
On Friday, March 21, the âTruth Hurtsâ singer, 36, shared a series of selfies on Instagram in which she showed off her physique in a sultry, seemingly schoolgirl-inspired outfit that included black fishnet tights, a red plaid skirt, a glittery black top, as well as a studded leather vest.
The musician completed her look by teasing her curls into an afro and accessorizing with dangling, bedazzled earrings.
âDevour feculence đ,â she captioned the sexy post, referring to a rebellious line delivered by Tramell Tillman in a recent episode of AppleTV+âs Severance.
In another Instagram post on Saturday, March 22, Lizzo shared another selfie â along with a collection of memes, many of them about Severance â in which she showed off her makeup-free face in the morning light.
In the selfie, Lizzo wore a gray graphic T-shirt and a pair of black underwear. She captioned the post: âMe, myself & all my memes: (I still havenât seen the season finale of severance).â
Among the (multiple) Severance posts, the star also shared a post from another creator that read: âNobody owes me anything, but I owe myself everything.â
Lizzo has been candid about her âweight releaseâ â a term used to refer to a more holistic, well-rounded approach to weight loss â since September 2024, when she shared in a TikTok video that she was undergoing a dramatic transformation.
At the time, she revealed some details about the process, showing herself in a black two-piece look before the video cut to the singer in a gray bodysuit that accentuated her trim figure. She soundtracked the video with audio from a clip of Nicki Minaj, in which she says: âThe fact that you would even discuss my looks is insane. Iâm a bad bâ-, always been a bad bâ-.â
âFine both ways đŽâđ¨,â the â2 Be Lovedâ singer captioned the post.
Since then, Lizzo has given fans a number of updates about her journey. In January, the âAbout Damn Timeâ singer shared another candid post on Instagram, showing off her slimmed-down physique after months of work to reach her âweight release goal.â
âI did it,â she captioned the post. âToday when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I havenât seen this number since 2014!â
âLet this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to,â she added. âTime for new goals!â

In March 2024, the star spoke to The New York Times about wanting to be âmethodicalâ and consistent when it comes to her weight loss process.
âIâm taking the time every day to put some love into my body,â she said. âThere is never a day when I regret taking a walk or doing some Pilates.â
âIâve been methodical, losing weight very slowly,â Lizzo added, before responding to critics who argue that her losing weight goes against her former body-positivity stance.
âMy body is nobodyâs business,â she insisted to the outlet.
