Lisa Rinna is ready for her next chapter.
Rinna, 62, went from queen of deception following a meme-worthy appearance on The Traitors season 4 to author at the drop of a hat. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star released her memoir, aptly titled You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, on Tuesday, February 24 — and held nothing back.
“I’m very busy right now,” she told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting the book, confirming that slowing down isn’t on the table. “I’m looking for an embarrassment of riches.”
Aside from her acting career, Rinna has become a style icon and, oh yeah, a TikTok sensation. As she wears multiple hats she’s also continuing to parent her adult daughters Delilah Belle, 27, and Amelia Gray, 24, whom she shares with husband Harry Hamlin.
“I’ve been very fortunate, and I don’t give up, and I think that, you know, I’m not afraid to reinvent myself,” she told Us. “I’m not afraid of ageism, I’m not afraid of sexism. I’m not afraid of any of it. I just keep going.”

Why was this the right time for more from Lisa Rinna?
I didn’t really want to write a book. It wasn’t really what I was looking to do, but I’m a businesswoman. About two years ago, my agents came to me. … I met with three different writers, and I really connected to one of them. I thought, they have my voice. I think they understand who I am. They knew my career. I said, “Why not?”
Is there anything you wish you’d said more — or less — of?
It is very vulnerable to put yourself out there and say the things I said. People can judge [my book] however they want, but this was my take on all these situations.
Did dredging up the past worry Harry?
No, because he had already seen me go through the majority of it. And I think that this was cathartic. The evolution of life is really cool. Harry knows me. I’m a pretty strong gal.
What does he think of your transition from Housewife to fashion star?
He gets a kick out of it, like we all do. He’s my greatest cheerleader. He always says to me, “You elevate every show you go on, and you make it a hit,” which is lovely for your husband to say.
Where do you want to be next in the fashion world?
A cover of Vogue. Met Gala. I got a lot to do. If somebody came to me and was a billionaire and wanted to create a line like Skims, I would say yes.
You write about your daughters not getting along at one point.
It happened in their teens. I was concerned about it in the moment, but they worked through it. Everybody came back together. And now they’re thriving in their own careers! It is so magical to watch because it wasn’t handed to anyone. Yes, they are nepo babies, but they worked hard. They are manifesting their dreams.
You’re open about lasers and Botox. Do you rule out any plastic surgeries?
I don’t. There are so many things we can do that make you feel better, so I think it’s a really exciting time for women.
Do you still feel fabulous at 62?
I do. At this point, I’m like, “You know what? Number doesn’t matter.” Look at Demi Moore at 63, Cher at 79, Pam Anderson at 58. I can go on and on.
You describe leaving ‘RHOBH’ as a leap of faith. Was it worth it?
Oh, my God, yes. I’ve never looked back. I probably should have gone a little sooner, but it happens the way it happens. I’m grateful for every experience.
Have other actors taken you more or less seriously post-Housewives?
I did Housewives for eight years, but I’ve had a career for 37 years. The people that I’ve known for a long time view me as a warrior. It’s pretty remarkable that I’m able to dip my toe into all these different areas and come out on top.
What are you looking for in the next phase of your acting career?
It’s fun to be on a really well written hit show. That’d be great. There are other times I just try to stay open to the universe and what it’s saying to me. I just need to stay open to what will feel the most authentic.
You explain the difference between ‘Rinna’ and ‘Lisa’ in the book — tell Us about that.
There’s Lisa at home in her Free City sweatpants and her bandana and no makeup. Rinna is kind of a bigger than life character that we all know and understand and, maybe, love. I’m very aware of when she’s out in the world and when Lisa’s out in the world.
What’s next for you?
I’ve been around a long time, and it just feels really good when it has felt really s***ty at times, and then, all of a sudden, it feels like I’m flourishing again. Isn’t that great about life that you can hit rock bottom and then rise like a phoenix? I feel like I’ve risen like a phoenix, and I’m just having so much fun.
