Lisa Rinna reveals tenuous relationship with Andy Cohen and how they ‘piss’ each off

Lisa Rinna is not one to shy away. The former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, who just released her memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, opened up about her tenuous relationship with the Bravo mastermind, Andy Cohen.

The 62-year-old reality TV icon opened up about her friendship with Andy, 57, during a conversation at 92Y on Thursday, February 26. She told the crowd, which I gleefully sat in: “[Andy and I have] had our moments, I’ve pissed him off, he’s pissed me off.”

For the first time in four years and despite how they anger each other, Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, February 25. The two had a lot of making up to do.

What happened between Lisa Rinna and Andy Cohen?

In 2023, Andy released his fourth memoir, The Daddy Diaries, including private text messages between him and Lisa about her exit from RHOBH. After learning about her inclusion in Andy’s memoir, Lisa wrote in her own memoir: “After I read it, I was so mad, I threw his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully.”

She continued: “Nobody had my back, not even Andy. Especially Andy. He left me in a ditch to have my eyes pecked out by the vultures.”

In her conversation at 92Y, Lisa revealed that a prominent Bravo executive no longer wanted her appearing on WWHL, noting that the network was nervous Lisa would say something potentially scandalous.

So Lisa’s appearance on WWHL this week came as a surprise to her. The mom-of-two told the audience: “I said no to WWHL in 2026, but [after] a few talks with Jen Geisser [the Communications lead for unscripted across NBC, Peacock, and Bravo], I said ‘yes.'”

Did Lisa Rinna and Andy Cohen make up?

After several years, The Traitors star finally graced the late night screen again and thus, reunited with Andy. At the start of Wednesday’s episode, Andy said: “It is very clear to me that you have a very complicated relationship with the housewives and a little bit with me as a result of that.

He continued: “You know, I have to tell you something. And I have to thank you because what I realized is that you showed up for me on two of the most important days of my life.”

Andy went on, sharing that Lisa was the “hype master” at his baby shower. “You did that,” the father-of-two said. “And nobody asked you to do it. It was incredible and I will never forget it.” Another day Lisa showed up for Andy was while she was grieving the loss of her mom, Lois Rinna.

“You were filming that day, you had just come back from Aspen, you were grieving. You sat with my mom at that lunch afterward and I just want to thank you,” he explained. “You showed up for me on two very important days for me and that is not lost on me. I really appreciate that and I’ll never forget it.”

The Real Housewife told the crowd at 92Y: “Andy was so generous and so lovely [on WWHL]. It meant the world to me.”
