Captain Olivia Benson is calling in reinforcements.

On April 17, the casts of Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order will team up for a crossover event after Benson (Mariska Hargitay) receives a mysterious phone call that leads her detectives to the scene of a murder, according to NBC.

Together, SVU and the 2-7 will “uncover a pattern of rape and murder targeting marginalized women,” and ADA Dominick Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and ADA Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) will have to work together to charge the suspect with multiple crimes, per the network.

The crossover event will air beginning at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by the premiere of Organized Crime at 10 p.m., also on NBC.

OC‘s primary home for its fifth season, however, remains Peacock — NBC’s streaming service — where the rest of the episodes will be available after the April 17 premiere.

The series stars Christopher Meloni as Det. Elliot Stabler, Dean Norris as Randall Stabler, Danielle Moné Truitt as Ayanna Bell, Rick Gonzalez as Bobby Reyes and Ainsley Seiger as Jet Slootmaekers.

According to the NBC, the fifth installment of the show will see Stabler’s “worlds collide” as he’s forced to “put everything on the line to protect the vulnerable and fight for justice.”

In the season 5 teaser, Stabler can be heard in a voiceover as past scenes from the show flash on screen.

“The pain. The things I’ve seen,” he says, “all in the pursuit of one thing: Justice. This fight has only just begun.”
