Kylie Jenner has a new furry friend following the recent death of her dog Norman.
The Kardashians star, 28, shared several Instagram Stories on Friday, November 7, introducing her followers to a gorgeous white kitten. Jenner filmed the kitty crawling around her home and licking its paws, and posted a sweet clip of her snuggling with her new friend as she kissed it.
Jenner has not yet confirmed her new kittenâs name or whether it is a permanent addition to her home, though itâs clear they have already bonded.
In October, Jenner made the announcement that her Italian Greyhound dog Norman had died at around â13 years old.â
âIn Loving Memory of My Sweet Norman,â she wrote via Instagram, alongside a carousel of photos of her late pet. âI still remember the day I brought you home. I had never loved anything so much. I always wanted an Italian Greyhound growing up, but my mommy never let me have one. Then, right after I turned 17, I got you for Christmas, and it was the best gift I could have ever received.â
As she looked back on Normanâs life, Jenner credited the dog with â[filling] my life and so many others with pure joy.â
âAlmost 13 years old, and yet I know Iâll remember you far longer than the time we got to share,â she wrote. âI wish I wasnât writing this post. I knew you were getting older, and I tried to prepare myself, but itâs hard losing you norm.â
Jenner acknowledged feeling heartbroken to be without Norman, though she also expressed gratitude that âmy kids got to meet you and love you.â (Kylie and rapper Travis Scott share two children: Stormi Webster, 7, and Aire Webster, 3.)
âMy sweet Normyyyy. My heart aches for you,â she concluded. âRest in peace, my precious Normandle. I love you forever.â
Norman was a fixture on Jennerâs social media in his younger years, as the reality star often brought her pet along on her adventures. However, Norman eventually started appearing less frequently in Jennerâs social posts as he got older. (Normanâs official Instagram account was last updated in December 2017.)
In February 2019, Jenner replied directly to a concerned fan wondering âwhat happenedâ to Norman since she wasnât regularly sharing photos of him.
âWhat makes u think anything happened to my Norman?â Jenner responded âI donât post my dogs as much but that doesnât mean they arenât very much a part of my life still.â
Meanwhile, the Kardashian-Jenner family are in the middle of a big weekend following matriarch Kris Jennerâs 70th birthday on Wednesday, November 5. Us Weekly learned that all of Krisâs children got together to throw her a James Bond-themed 70th birthday bash on Saturday, November 8. (Kris and late ex-husband Robert Kardashian shared Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, KhloĂ© Kardashian and Rob Kardashian, while Kris and former spouse Caitlyn Jenner are parents to Kylie and Kendall Jenner.)
Despite speculation that the birthday party would double as a surprise wedding for Kris and her partner Corey Gamble, Us reported that there are no current plans for the couple to tie the knot.
Kylie celebrated her momâs birthday by sharing a throwback photo from a Keeping Up With the Kardashians scene where Kris got her and Kendallâs names tattooed on her lower back.
âHAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE QUEEEEEEN,â Kylie wrote on Wednesday.
Earlier this week, Kylie celebrated older sister Kendallâs milestone 30th birthday by sharing a carousel of photos from the festivities, along with the caption: âWe love you kenny butt.â
