Kyle Richards has denied Sutton Stracke’s claim that she tried to hook up with Kevin Costner.
“That is definitely not true. I think she was just joking,” Richards told TMZ at LAX on Wednesday.
While the Bravolebrity confirmed that both she and the actor have homes in Aspen, Colo., she claimed they have only met twice and have spoken for “maybe one minute” total.
When further questioned by TMZ about Costner, Richards, 55, confessed the “Yellowstone” alum, 69, is “obviously a good-looking man.”
However, she reiterated there is nothing is going on between them.
Stracke, 53, made the remark about Richards attempting to “hook up” with Costner in Aspen during Tuesday’s episode of the “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show.”
“Kyle and I have this conversation, she was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there. And she was, like, trying to hook up with Kevin Costner,” Stracke claimed to Garcelle Beauvais and Jennifer Tilly.
The eyebrow-raising comment came as the trio was discussing Richards’ highly publicized relationship with country singer Morgan Wade.
The pair had been the subject of dating speculation ever since Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced their separation in July 2023 following 27 years of marriage.
“I don’t think that Morgan’s the end all, be all because … there’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there,” Stracke claimed.
Richards has vehemently denied being in a romantic relationship with Wade, 29. During an October 2023 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” she called the musician “one of [her] best, best friends.”
Two months earlier, Wade blasted the gossip and called the internet a “dumb place.”
Richards reiterated in February that she is not dating Wade but confirmed she and Umansky are “free” to date other people.
Costner, for his part, has been not been in a public relationship since May 2023 — when his wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner, filed for divorce.
In December 2023, he was romantically linked to singer Jewel. He has since denied they were ever together.
“Jewel and I are friends — we’ve never gone out,” he said on “The Howard Stern Show” in June.
“She’s special, and I don’t want these rumors to ruin our friendship because that’s what we have.”
