Kyle Richards is opening her mind when it comes to her sexuality.
âI donât like labels, I guess,â the âReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsâ star told Variety at BravoCon â after a Season 15 trailer featured her declaring, âI could go Brad, I could go Angelina.â
Though she admitted she said it to âmake [her co-stars] laugh,â rumors immediately circulated that the reality TV personality had come out as bisexual.
âI think people can think whatever they want,â Richards, 56, told the outlet.
âI always had a type, tall, dark and handsome, and thatâs what I married,â she added, referring to estranged husband Mauricio Umansky, from whom she separated in 2023.
âI am growing and evolving, and my mind has opened up. So I donât know. I donât know what the future holds now, and Iâm fine with that.â
When Variety reporters noted to Richards that they are both lesbians, Richards replied, âHa! That would never have crossed my mind before, ever in my life â and now Iâm like, thatâs totally an option.â
âIâm just here to see what life brings me, honestly,â the Bravolebrity continued.
âI donât want to be set up with anybody. Whatever happens, happens, and Iâm good with that. I like hanging out with myself alone too.â
The former child actress appeared in a steamy video with country singer Morgan Wade in 2023, prompting immediate romance speculation.
Richards â who was spotted by an eyewitness for Page Six looking âvery intimateâ with Wade in Paris following the videoâs release â has since been seen hanging out with her close friend on a number of occasions.
The mom of four daughters married Umansky, 55, in 1996, and welcomed daughters Alexia, 29, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17, before announcing their split after 27 years of marriage in 2023.
Richards also shares daughter Farrah, 37, with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie, to whom Richards was married from 1988 to 1992.
The reality star previously opened up to Page Sixâs âVirtual Reali-Teaâ about her evolving sexuality.
âIt was the most difficult conversation Iâve ever had with my children and I was terrified to have that conversation,â she said last November.
âI just wanted to be as honest as I possibly could.â
She added, âI like to lead by example and I thought, âYou know, if this is what Iâm going through and feeling, I want them to always feel comfortable enough to share with me the hardest conversations and know that theyâll be accepted no matter what.ââ
The âHalloweenâ star was ultimately âimpressedâ by her daughtersâ reaction.
âHaving that conversation, their reaction and response to me, I thought, âWow, I mean, Iâm just so impressed by these four women in front of me,ââshe said.
âAnd I thought, âMaybe, just maybe, I did do a good jobâ â because that was my most proud moment as a mom, just seeing how they all reacted.â
