Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley’s shocking friendship status revealed as ‘RHOBH’ films new season

Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley have finally reconciled.

“[Richards] and Dorit are getting along,” Chanel Ayan exclusively revealed in a new interview for Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”

The “Real Housewives of Dubai” alum told us that she ran into the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars at NBCUniversal’s star-studded Pre-Emmy party earlier this month.

“I was talking to Kyle and Dorit, and I was having a great time with them,” Ayan shared. “They were really close.”

Ayan said Richards even made a WhatsApp group chat with her and Dorit.

“It was just so cute,” she recalled. “It’s good to see them together.”

While Richards and Dorit were once close friends, their relationship has grown increasingly strained over the last handful of years.

The women began to drift in Season 13 as Richards grew closer to country singer Morgan Wade, with whom she was rumored to be in a romantic relationship amid her separation from Mauricio Umansky.

Richards later claimed in an Amazon Live that Dorit had exaggerated their close friendship, revealing they had only vacationed together one time outside of filming for the show.

Dorit, in turn, exposed a “manipulative” text message Richards sent her the night before the Season 13 reunion, asking her not to bring up their issues in front of the cameras.

The drama continued into Season 14 after Richards sent a text of support to Dorit’s estranged husband, PK Kemsley, in light of their separation, promising to continue sending him “memes” despite their split.

While Richards and Dorit exchanged apologies and vowed to “move forward” in their relationship by the end of the Season 14 reunion, Richards and Erika Jayne let it slip at BravoCon 2025 that they were no longer on speaking terms with Dorit following their cast trip to Italy.

Viewers watched it all play out in Season 15 as the women staged an intervention to address what they described as Dorit’s “erratic” behavior following her separation from PK.

The group is currently in the throes of filming Season 16, which also added new stars Leah Remini and Tracy Tutor to the mix.

According to Ayan, there’s “definitely” going to be some drama between Dorit and Tutor, who previously accused the latter of failing to pay her glam team — an allegation she has denied.

“I just want people to give Dorit a bit of grace,” Ayan said.

“She’s going through a lot. We don’t need to be tough on the girl.”
