The Kardashian-Jenner family has always been famous for keeping their exes close — and that’s still true for Kim Kardashian and her younger sister Kylie Jenner’s former partner Travis Scott.
The Skims cofounder, 45, revealed in a new interview that she doesn’t hesitate to contact Scott, 34, for the occasional fashion-related indulgence.
“I’m not that girl to call in family favors, I just don’t,” Kardashian said during an interview with Complex for the outlet’s “Sneaker Shopping” video series published on Monday, February 2. “[But] I had to call to get the Travis pinks. And then they show up.”
The reality star was referring to Scott’s Jordan sneakers, which always sell out instantly. According to Kardashian, she has more sneakers from his various collaborations than from any other designer.
“I’d say the most shoes I have are Travis’ [collabs],” she explained. “Every colorway.”
Explaining why she loves Scott’s shoes so much given that she’s not generally a sneaker person, Kardashian said, “The Travises, they just match.”
The rapper dated Kardashian’s youngest sister, 28, off and on for five years before calling it quits for good in 2023. The former couple share two children: daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4. (Jenner has since moved on with Timothée Chalamet.)
Last month, Scott made a rare comment about his kids, explaining how fatherhood has changed him as a person.
“You can’t do a lot of crazy s*** like you would [have before],” he said in a January cover interview with Rolling Stone, noting that the hardest part about touring is having to be away from his little ones. “Man, my kids are just like me when it comes to trying to get off ideas,” the rapper added.
Scott went on to reveal that Aire, who celebrated his birthday on Monday, is just as innovative as he is. “I took him to the Disney Imagineering spot, and his mind was just going off when he seen the robots and all the new tech and how it’s built,” the “Sicko Mode” rapper explained.
In the same interview, Scott explained why he doesn’t let Stormi and Aire use AI on any of their gadgets.
“My kids don’t have AI,” he said. “Having AI right now will compress their ability for their brain to maximize. So they got to learn the physical and the actual way of learning so then they know how to actually use AI to their best ability, because if it’s doing everything for you, how do you even know what’s right or wrong?”
More recently, Scott seemingly dropped a shout-out to Jenner in his new song “Rosary” with Don Toliver.
In one verse, he rapped, “She look at me like Scotty, man, that S on my chest (Scott, Yeah) / Forty-four five C, the way they sit, I need to test (Straight up).”
Last year, Jenner famously revealed the exact specifications of her breast implants after a social media user inquired about them in a TikTok video.
