Kim Kardashian had a Cinderella moment following the 2025 Oscars.
The 44-year-old reality star and SKIMS mogul attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, March 2, in a strapless white Balenciaga ball gown.
Kardashian went minimal with her makeup look, including a nude lip and soft eye makeup, with her dark hair pulled into a sleek updo.
Fans noticed that Kardashian’s dress was reminiscent of another one she once famously wore: a custom Vera Wang ball gown, featuring a full tulle skirt and sweetheart neckline, from her 2011 wedding to second ex-husband Kris Humphries.
Kardashian — who later went on to marry Kanye West in 2014, with the two divorcing in 2022 — told PEOPLE in 2011 that at her wedding to Humphries, 40, she “felt like a princess,” thanks to her dress.

About nine months after Kardashian was first spotted courtside at one of Humphries’ basketball games, they tied the knot in August 2011 in an estimated $6 million affair, which aired during a TV special. She famously filed for divorce 72 days later.
Back in 2019, Humphries wrote in The Players’ Tribune that his relationship with Kardashian was “100% real,” adding, “When it was clear that it wasn’t working … what can I say? It sucked.”
“It’s never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that — with your friends, with your family … but when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world, it’s a whole other level. It was brutal,” added the former NBA player.
Humphries also revealed he “didn’t know how to handle” the downfall of his marriage, “because I never thought I was going to be famous in that way.”
Two years later, Kardashian — who was also previously married to music producer Damon Thomas — said on a Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion episode that she felt bad for the way things ended between herself and Humphries.

During the episode, she admitted to its host, Andy Cohen, that she handled their breakup “the wrong way,” and owed Humphries an apology.
“I was so nervous to break up with someone,” Kardashian shared. “I fully broke up with him in the worst way, and I just didn’t know how to deal. I learned so much from it.”
“Do you think you owe him an apology?” asked Cohen, 56, to which Kardashian replied, “Absolutely, and I tried to — I tried calling him for months.”
Later, she said that Humphries wanted an annulment of their marriage rather than a divorce, but she insisted on the divorce. Looking back, she wished she had gone ahead with the annulment.
“I wish I was only married once,” Kardashian said.
