Kevin Spacey clarified that he’s not homeless after sharing that he was living out of hotels and Airbnbs in a recent interview.

“I don’t usually make it my business to correct the media,” the “Usual Suspects” star shared via an Instagram video Sunday.

“If I did, I wouldn’t have time for much else, but in light of the recent articles claiming that I am homeless, I feel the need to respond.”

“Not to the press but to the thousands of people who have reached out over the past few days, offering me a place to stay, or who have just asked if I’m OK,” Spacey, 66, said.

“And to all of you, let me say that I’m truly touched by your generosity, full stop,” he continued. “But I feel like it would be disingenuous of me to allow you to believe that I’m indeed homeless in the colloquial sense.”

Spacey brought up his recent interview with the Telegraph’s journalist Mick Brown, which was published on Wednesday.

“In my conversation with Mick Brown, the wonderful journalist … I said I was basically living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is,” the actor said.

“Just as I did when I first started in this business. I’ve been working nearly nonstop this entire year, and for that, I have so much to be grateful for.”

Spacey noted that there are “many people” who are “living on the streets,” “in their cars” or in “terrible financial situations” but that he wasn’t in the same boat.

“And my heart goes out to them,” he said. “But it’s clear from the article itself that I am not one of them, nor was I attempting to say that I was.”

Spacey’s clarification comes after the outlet published an article with the headline, “Kevin Spacey interview: Homeless, cancelled and crooning in Cyprus.”

During his interview with the outlet, the actor said he was staying in hotels and Airbnbs.

“I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain,” he said.

The “American Beauty” star added that his financial situation was “not great” after a sexual assault scandal, in which he denied wrongdoing and was acquitted in court.

Spacey noted that the “costs over these last seven years have been astronomical.”

The “1780” star shared that he felt as if he was “back to where [he] started and traveling “where the work” is.

“Everything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I’ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again,” he said.
