Kevin Costner is reflecting on his Thanksgiving with his family.
On Monday, Dec. 2, the actor marked the recent holiday with a heartwarming post in which he spoke about being “grateful” to spend time with his children as he shared recent photos of him with six of his seven kids.
In the first photo, a smiling Kevin was seen on a beach joined by daughters Annie, 40, Lily, 38, and Grace, 14, plus sons Joe, 36, Cayden, 17, and Hayes, 15. The actor stood in the middle as they embraced while posing for the snap together.
“Hoping you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the people you love most,” Kevin, 69, wrote in the caption. “At the top of my ‘grateful for’ list are the many really, really special memories I’ve gotten to make with my kids this year.”
“Here’s to a holiday season dedicated to making more,” he concluded.

Kevin appeared with Cayden in a second sweet black-and-white photo. The pair appeared to be laughing together in the image as they sat beside each other on a bed.
A following short clip showed Kevin posing with his kids at the Los Angeles premiere of his Western epic Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1. He was joined by Annie, Joe, Cayden, Hayes and Grace.
The two-time Oscar winner shared a final black-and-white photo of him with Annie, Lily, Grace, Cayden and Hayes at a recent event. Annie had her arm wrapped around Hayes while their other siblings stood close together with their dad for the photo.
Kevin’s son Liam, 28, did not appear in the photos.

Kevin shares Annie, Lily and Joe with his first wife Cindy Silva, and Liam with his former partner Bridget Rooney. His three youngest children — Cayden, Hayes and Grace — are with his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner. The pair finalized their divorce in February.
At the L.A. premiere of Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1 in June, Kevin spoke to PEOPLE about feeling proud of having his kids support the film, which he directed, co-wrote and starred in, and his movie career overall.
“It’s pretty gratifying to understand my children are somewhere watching over me, which they always do — you can imagine that feeling,” he said.
Speaking to PEOPLE in 2022 about son Hayes’ appearance in the film, the actor said, “I kind of did it on purpose, so he could be hanging out with me … I’m like any other parent, I’m trying to figure out, like, ‘This is really neat. You should come be with me.’ ”
