Kendra Wilkinson is entering her golden years.
The Girls Next Door alum, who lived in the Playboy mansion with the late Hugh Hefner alongside Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt in the mid-aughts, recently shared why she’s at peace with her aging self, even if posting on social media sometimes gives her pause.
“God, takes me a second to post photos now,” Kendra wrote in a March 11 Instagram post. “Wondering how much hate and bullying I’ll get for my new body and age but I’m going to post this today and feel proud of myself.”
The 39-year-old—who shares kids Hank Jr., 14, and Alijah, 10, with ex Hank Baskett—emphasized, however, that she feels especially great in the current stage of her life and body.
“I have overcome so much in life and deserve to celebrate myself and my new attitude towards life,” she continued. “Playboy days are long gone and it feels more and more liberating for some reason. Not because I don’t appreciate my time there but because now I feel older and more free more than I did when I left the mansion.”
