As the certified “yapper” of my friend group, I covered a lot of ground when I saw my long-distance best friend over holiday break — and one topic of conversation was Kendall Jenner’s style.
Out of all the Kardashian-Jenner family members, the model’s outfits are ones I’d wear most on the daily. For instance, on January 4, Jenner wore a snuggly red sweater along with slightly baggy black jeans. She also threw on a shoulder bag and slipped on a pair of black loafers, a style seen on Jennifer Garner and Katie Holmes, for a bit more polish.
A sweater and jeans are a comfortable combo for cold days, while loafers look dressier than sneakers without the pain of heels. Spanx AirEssentials Luxe Half-Zip Tunic
I don’t know if Kendall owns any Spanx clothing (even though her sister Kylie does), but her sweater sure reminds me of one from the brand: this AirEssentials tunic. Speaking of AirEssentials pieces, Oprah once said that the fabric is “the softest material [she has] felt for sweats,” and this sweater is made with it. It’s also longer than the half-zip, which Gwyneth Paltrow has worn.
The red color is going fast, but three others — a mauve-like gray, black, and white — are also in stock.
Reformation Mia High-Rise Vintage Bootcut Jeans
I’ve had black jeans on my wish list for years, so one of my New Year’s resolutions is to finally get a pair. I’m a huge Reformation stan — I just got these silk pants for Christmas and have worn them three times already! — and this pair is $101 off now. They’re a bootcut style, meaning they’re relaxed like Jenner’s and ultra-convenient for winter boots.
Dream Pairs Penny Loafers
I tend to favor chunky shoes, like lug-soled loafers, but lately, I’ve been itching for sleeker pairs. I tried on a few styles last week but didn’t want to spend a ton since I wasn’t sure if the style would stick in my wardrobe. These shoes have the thin sole I’m looking for and are reasonably priced. They come in sizes 6 to 10, and they “look classy” and “aren’t too harsh on sensitive feet,” according to one shopper.
Lucky Brand Brit Shoulder Bag
No, I’m not giving crossbody bags the cold shoulder, but I am warming up to shoulder bags this year. They’re still lightweight and have a little more swagger, in my opinion. This option from Lucky Brand is made from leather, but it has an easy-to-clean liner for inevitable lip gloss and makeup spills.
