Forget a white Christmas, Kelly Ripa is dreaming of a holiday where husband Mark Consuelos takes on a bit of the Santa duties.
While discussing her love of hitting the sales during the Christmas to New Year’s stretch she dubbed “Twixmas,” Ripa revealed her husband of 28 years hasn’t “shopped for anything for Christmas in 30 years,” during the Dec. 25 episode of their morning show Live With Kelly and Mark. “Since we’ve been together, I have watched you actively not shop for anything.”
And safe to say that their kids Michael Consuelos, 27, Lola Consuelos, 23, and Joaquin Consuelos, 21, would have a blue, blue, blue, blue Christmas without Mom.
Ripa joked to viewers that they should swing by their New York City townhouse on any given Dec. 25 to “watch Mark arrive as an honored guest.”
“And then he is shocked, shocked, I tell you, at his thoughtfulness with what he got me, the kids,” the 54-year-old continued. “He’s amazed. He’s always like, ‘That’s what you wanted, right?’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, it’s exactly how I wanted it.'”
