Kelly Osbourne’s major hint she’d ended 7-month engagement with Sid Wilson

Kelly Osbourne, 41, and her partner of four years, Sid Wilson, 49, reportedly quietly ended their seven-month engagement, though neither has confirmed the reason for their split.

The Slipknot DJ proposed to Kelly in July 2025 at her father Ozzy Osbourne’s final Black Sabbath, just weeks before his death at age 76 from cardiac arrest following a battle with Parkinson’s disease. 

Sid had presented her with a sentimental ‘Honeybee’ ring that paid tribute to his nickname for her, but it has been notably absent from her left hand over the past month.

Looking back at her joint appearance with her mother, Sharon, in an advertisement for Omaze, which was filmed in February, Kelly wore a black dress with a white bow, but did not accessorise with her engagement ring. The ambassador for homeless charity Centrepoint sat on a sofa with her hands resting on her knees, highlighting her bare ring finger.

Meanwhile, at the Brit Awards on 28 February, Kelly and Sharon dressed in coordinating black outfits to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award for Ozzy. Despite the fact that Kelly was wearing a ring on her left hand for the star-studded event, it was not her engagement ring.

Weeks earlier, she was wearing the sentimental ring to the Pre-Grammy Gala on 31 January, and she made her final joint appearance with Sid at the GRAMMY Awards the following day. 

It is unclear exactly when they split, but her missing engagement ring in recent weeks was the first subtle sign that the couple, who share a son called Sidney, born in November 2022, had gone their separate ways.

A source told The Daily Mail that Kelly has been struggling with the grief of losing her father, Ozzy, and had been trying to work through challenges for their son before splitting. 

A representative for Kelly declined to comment when approached by HELLO!.

Love story

The pair first met in 1999 at Ozzfest, the music festival founded by Kelly’s parents. Their friendship turned romantic in 2022, and they got engaged three years later, backstage at her dad’s final show on 5 July 2025 at Villa Park in Birmingham.

Kelly admitted she had “no clue” Sid was planning to propose, stating: “I was trying to leave and my mum dragged me back to the party and asked me to find her a microphone. I thought she was just gonna thank everyone for coming.” 

Musician Ozzy was clearly not expecting the proposal, as he jokingly said to Sid: “You’re not marrying my daughter.”

Analysing the 18k yellow gold ring from Mouawad, Maxwell Stone, UK diamond expert at Steven Stone, said: “The ring features a harmonious blend of white and yellow diamonds, accented with radiant citrine – a gemstone long associated with joy, abundance, and the warmth of the sun.

He estimated the ring was worth $100k, adding: “The circular shape, with no beginning or end, mirrors the unbroken bond the couple share – a love as brilliant and infinite as the diamond itself.”

This marked Kelly’s third engagement. Her first fiancé was model and DJ Luke Worrall, who proposed in 2008, but they split in 2010 before walking down the aisle. Chef Matthew Mosshart later proposed to her in 2013, but they ended their relationship in early 2014.
