Keanu Reeves’ girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, had a night to remember with the actor in New York City.
“Last Monday, after the run of Waiting for Godot, Keanu invited me on a date in New York City… ⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️,” Grant, 52, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, January 13. “…and we just want to give a shout out to everyone at the Rink @rockefellercenter for welcoming us! You made us feel right at home, cheering us on, and offering us hot cocoa and pompom hats.”
Grant uploaded a series of photos of the couple skating alone in Rockefeller Center underneath the famed Christmas tree, while one image showed her and Reeves, 61, sharing a sweet smooch.
“Thank you, too, to the folks behind the scenes who made this special night happen — you know who you are!” Grant wrote. “And to the Christmas Elves, Nanea and Jeff, who got Keanu new skates. Getting back on ice after a few decades and moving from hockey skates to figure skates and *#$%@* toe picks is no joke! X.”
Grant went on to thank the “skating community” and for the “encouragement” she felt and for cheering on “everyone who learns to skate at any age x.”
“And cheers to the next rocking generation of skaters and Olympians! We’re inspired by how you’re choosing to train and eat on your terms, what music you prefer, your awesome style choices, finding joy in a sport that requires so many hours of practice to perfect. We’re rooting for you @milanocortina2026!” she wrote.
She continued, “’Connections with people—that’s the most important thing in life. It overrides everything.’ —Alysa Liu. So yes, always yes to connecting! Yes to joy, yes to getting out there even when beyond tired, yes to trying something new, yes to doing it your way, and staying open to surprise! X.”
Reeves and Grant crossed paths in 2009, going public with their romance one decade later when she attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala with the actor. While the pair have largely kept their relationship private, Reeves and Grant have offered glimpses of their dynamic — and addressed rumors that they secretly tied the knot.
“Well, that wasn’t the first time,” Reeves said of the speculation in an interview with E! News in October 2025. “We’ve been going out for a long time.”
He continued, “The wedding, it’s a nice thing. People did a lot of nice messages and stuff, but Alexandra just did a wonderful [job] addressing, like, ‘Thank you, but here’s the reality.’”
Grant, for her part, cleared up rumors in September 2025 when she shared a photo of her and Reeves locking lips.
“This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss! (Albeit maybe the moment right before or after it… given the slightly goofy expressions on our faces!) We’re at Roden Crater, and Keanu and Gard had just finished interviewing James Turrell for Visionaries,” she captioned her Instagram photo at the time.
She continued, “I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding. Except we didn’t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here’s a bit of real happiness!”
