Katy Perry flaunted her athletic physique as she headlined a new campaign for Balenciaga’s Radar and Triple S.2 sneakers. The singer took to Instagram on April 3 to debut a new advertisement featuring her working out with a skipping rope.
In the video, Katy sported a white cropped zip-up hoodie paired with black leggings featuring white stripe detailing. Her raven locks were pulled back into a ponytail, and she completed the look with a fresh pair of the brand’s white trainers.
Another promotional image showed Katy posing for a close-up shot in striking black and white. In the caption, she penned: “On Repeat Sneaker Campaign Discipline to me is self respect. It’s also self love. It doesn’t have to be rigid. It can start out small, showing up just daily in a small way, and that’s how you build consistency over perfection. Katy Perry The Radar Sneaker is available in stores and on balenciaga.com.”
The sneaker boasts a streamlined silhouette with a double-lacing design. Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli took inspiration from the brand’s signature Triple S style with the hybrid Triple S.2. The sneaker features a mesh surface with printed stripes along the panels.
Katy Perry’s diet and workout routine
The singer previously opened up about her protein-rich diet on an Instagram post. “I eat a lot of hard-boiled eggs because they are a great source of protein,” she said while standing in front of a table full of breakfast items.
She enjoys “clean” foods like chicken or fish with plenty of fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds. “[Orlando Bloom] definitely is very goal-minded about everything with the way he eats and works out,” Katy told Women’s Health.
“I’m probably one-fourth or one-fifth of what he is, so he is super dedicated and I’m more of a maintaining mother.” Katy explained that she always begins her day with a glass of water and apple cider vinegar followed by celery juice. She will then have a banana or hard-boiled eggs for breakfast followed by a protein with salad or soup for lunch.
Dinner consists of a simple meal like grilled chicken with quinoa and asparagus, but she will treat herself to pasta once or twice a week.
As for her workout routine, Katy exercises three to four times a week. “It’s not my favorite thing to do with the world unless I’m dancing or I’m snowboarding or I’m doing something that’s kind of masked,” she shared. She switches up her routine with hiking, pickleball, and candlelight yoga.
