Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom rang in 2025 with an adventure abroad!
On Tuesday, Dec. 31, the “Teenage Dream” singer, 40, gave fans an inside look at her New Year’s Eve celebrations in Tokyo with her fiancé, 47.
In the Instagram post, Perry included a series of videos and photos from their trip, beginning with a video of an elaborate box of fruit, a toast with Bloom, a sweet video in the car where the actor, who’s recording, asks Perry to “smile,” the couple holding back-to-back meditation poses, her sparkly Hello Kitty flats, food and more.
“Sending love to all in this next year… the new year is always an opportunity for transformation… as a 5x [Scorpio emoji] transformation is my middle name…” Perry wrote in the caption.
“We put the OK in tOKyo for NY 🎊🎍(speaking of you can stream OK or more appropriately, No Tears For New Years on your @denonofficial,” she added, referencing her song “OK,” which was featured on her latest studio album 143.
In November, the “Dark Horse” songstress made an appearance on the British talk show Lorraine and revealed her secret to looking good at age 40. It turns out Bloom plays a big role.
After joking it was “lots of doctors and Botox” — she then offered up her real answer.
“My partner, Orlando, is a really good influence when it comes to diet. He eats so well, and he works out all the time — almost to the point where it’s annoying,” she said.
“But I love swimming. I’m a pretty good swimmer. I swim a really long pool at a club I belong to at home, and I do the turns in the water. I wear the cap and the goggles,” she continued.
Meanwhile, during an appearance on Apple Music’s Zane Lowe to promote 143 — which she released in September — Perry opened up about her relationship with Bloom.
Explaining how her and Bloom’s personalities have impacted their 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, Perry said that she’s “just not shy. She’s a product of both parents being very bold.”
“Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue kinda hot and fast and then cool really quickly,” Perry explained. “It’s like, ‘La la la la la, I love you. Alright, let’s move on.’”
Added the “Last Friday Night” artist: “We call ourselves the chaos crew. We are fire, fire, fire, and so she sees all of that.”
She then spoke about his energy as a romantic partner, calling him “a real sage.”
“We both have parts of ourselves. There’s two parts of us, our highest good, and then our carnal, material self. Ego,” she said. “When the ego is running the show, then it’s like, ‘Whoa.’ But when that’s in check, then we’re both something else.”
