Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau taking major next step in their relationship: report

It looks like all Katy Perry wants for Christmas is Justin Trudeau.

The “Hot N’ Cold” hitmaker, 41, is reportedly already “making plans for the holidays” with her new beau, 53, a source told People on Thursday.

While the pair have undoubtedly grown close over the last few months, the source emphasized that Perry is really “looking forward” to the end of her “Lifetimes” tour.

“Without exaggeration, this year has been a whirlwind for her,” the insider added. “She hasn’t even had time to really think about her life after the tour.”

Though, the source added that Perry will be focusing on her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom (whom she shares with her now-ex fiancé Orlando Bloom), during her down time.

“She’s a single mom now and a lot of that is going to come into focus next year,” said the source.

Contacts for Perry and Trudeau did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The rest of Trudeau’s holiday plans remains unclear, including whether he’ll be spending time with his ex-wife, Sophie Grègroire, and their three children: sons Xavier James and Hadrien Grégoire, and daughter Ella-Grace.

The former prime minister’s ex-wife broke her silence on Trudeau’s widely publicized romance with the pop star earlier this week as she revealed that the news of their relationship does have its effects on her behind-the-scenes.

“We’re all human beings and stuff affects us,” she shared on the “Arlene Is Alone” podcast, adding that it’s “normal” to feel that way.

“How you react to stuff, is your decision. So I choose to try to listen to the music instead of the noise.”

Last month, Perry seemingly confirmed her romance with the Canadian politician during her concert in Prague as she told a fan she’s “dating someone” while shutting down their staged marriage proposal.

The announcement came shortly after the two public figures made their first public appearance as a couple at Paris’ Crazy Horse cabaret as they celebrated Perry’s 41st birthday.

Around that same time, a source told Page Six that Trudeau, 53, is over the moon to be dating the pop star.

“He is crazy about her and thinks she is the perfect woman,” the insider described. “They are simpatico on everything including politics, kids and French food.”

“They both have a sparkle for each other,” the source added.

The duo first sparked romance rumors in July when they were seen having dinner at chic Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.

They were since spotted getting hot and heavy on a yacht date in October while they sailed off the coast of Santa Barbara, Calif.
