Kieran Culkin, Bob Odenkirk and Bill Burr closed down Broadway on Monday, March 31, as the latest revival of David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Glengarry Glen Ross officially opened at The Palace Theatre in New York City.

The production, directed by Tony Award winner Patrick Marber, is playing a limited run through June 14. Michael McKean, Donald Webber, Jr., Howard W. Overshown and John Pirruccello also star.

Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars came out to celebrate the opening, posing on the red carpet and later, at the show’s official afterparty.

Among the celebrity attendees were Sarah Snook, Zosia Mamet, Tony Goldwyn, Katie Holmes, Ansel Elgort, Cynthia Nixon, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Taylor Neisen and Liev Schreiber, Molly Ringwald and Jason Biggs.

Glengarry Glen Ross  takes place over two days in “a cutthroat Chicago real estate office, where four salespeople compete to sell mostly worthless properties to unwitting customers,” according to an official synopsis. The stakes are high as the person who sells the most will win a car, while the one who sells the least will lose their job.

The drama premiered at the National Theatre in London before opening on Broadway in March 1984. It’s been revived twice on Broadway in 2005 and 2013. Both productions had starry casts, featuring actors like Schreiber, Jeffrey Tambor, Bobby Cannavale and David Harbour.

Burr, Odenkirk and Pirruccello are all making their Broadway debuts in this revival. Culkin, who won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar earlier this year, returns to the Main Stem after having starred in a 2014 production of Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth opposite Michael Cera.
