Kathy Griffin swaps her signature red hair for platinum blond

Kathy Griffin is a redhead no longer.

The comedian debuted a new look on Instagram, sporting a platinum blond cut with blunt-styled bangs.

She posted three pics, captioned “And you guys thought you knew me…”

Griffin tried out three different poses with her newfound style, biting on finger in one and smirking in another.

The comedian, 65, is known for her fiery red hair to match her fiery personality.

And, while she’s been quite vocal about her cosmetic procedures — including three facelifts — her hair has remained pretty much the same through the years.

It’s unclear as to whether or not her new look is a wig or if she dipped into the peroxide.

“KATHY IT LOOKS SO GOOD” writes one commenter, while another, assuming it’s a wig, adds, “Wig expansion!! I’m here for it!! ❤️🔥😁.”

One said, “Kathy in her Barbie era 🔥🔥🔥🔥” while others compared her to Daryl Hannah, Nicole Kidman and Hannah Montana.

She certainly has no problem with permanent cosmetic changes.

“I know that’s so vain!” she said on her “Talk Your Head Off” podcast in August of her third facelift. “I’m so vain for no reason. No one has ever gone to a Kathy Griffin show to see her beautiful, youthful face. You come to hear my jokes, which is what I want.”

Chatting about her decision to go under the knife with Entertainment Tonight, Griffin added, “I had cancer twice. And I thought, you know what? I wanna do a surgery where afterwards, it’s something more positive.”
