Katey Sagal is opening up about her path to parenthood.
“I had a child at 52 through a surrogate, but I became a mother again at 52,” Sagal, now 73, said on the Wednesday, August 5, episode of the “Where Everybody Knows Your Name” podcast . “My husband is six years younger than I am, and this is my third husband. When we met, he was like, ‘I don’t want to have any kids.’ I was like, ‘OK ‘cause I have about five minutes left if you want to have kids.’”
Sagal married Kurt Sutter in 2004, three years before they welcomed daughter Esmé, now 19. The actress also shares daughter Sarah, 31, and son Jackson, 30, with ex-husband Jack White .
