Kate Middleton is paying homage to her royal predecessors.
The Princess of Wales attended the annual Commonwealth Day service alongside husband Prince William at Westminster Abbey in London, England, March 10, where she included nods to both Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II in her wardrobe.
To mark the occasion, which celebrates the 56 countries in the Commonwealth of Nations, Kate stepped out wearing head-to-toe red as she paired a Catherine Walker coatdress with a Gina Foster hat. She completed her ensemble with Gianvito Rossi pointed toe pumps and a Miu Miu shoulder bag.
As for her accessories, the 43-year-old arrived at the church—where she wed the Prince of Wales in April 2011—sporting the Collingwood teardrop earrings which previously belonged to her late mother-in-law. The pieces were given to Princess Diana by the London-based jeweler ahead of her wedding to King Charles in 1981, and Kate has gone on to wear them on numerous occasions, including in one of her 40th birthday portraits in 2022.
