Kate Beckinsale’s fans shared concern for the actress after she posted photos of the injuries she suffered while filming her new movie “Canary Black.”
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the “Underworld” star shared images of various bruises on her hand and arm, several scrapes on her arms and knees and a few busted fingers.
“Kicking impeccably chic ass 🩷,” she captioned the post. “And a couple of close ups doesn’t half hurt lol.”
On her Instagram Stories, the actress, 51, also shared a photo of herself seemingly wearing a back brace.
Fans were quick to share their concern for the actress in her comments as one follower asked her, “Why are you all bruised up?”
“The question is, which part of the body was not demolished 😄,” another wrote.
“Damn you’re covered in bruises, I hope nothing broken and a spoiler for a new movie?” someone else asked Beckinsale, while a different commenter wrote, “OMG… Those bruises… those x-rays!”
“You must have been in some real pain, I hope you feel better now.😮,” said someone else.
Earlier this year, Beckinsale revealed she had been hospitalized for several weeks as she battled physical health issues.
After fans commented on her thinning appearance, the “Serendipity” star shared that she wound up in the hospital for an extended stay because she was dealing with stress and grief.
“No, actually. I watched my stepfather [director Roy Battersby] die quite shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer, and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief, quite quickly,” she shared.
Beckinsale claimed the trauma she had experienced “burned a hole” in her esophagus, which made her “vomit copious amounts of blood.”
“I found eating very hard and I just worked very very hard on a movie that was actually quite triggering because it also involved the theme of the death of my father so I’m not really concerned about what you think about my ass,” she added.
“Maybe you should worry about your own f–king ass,” the actress told one social media user, who commented that her “ass ran away.”
“Canary Black” is now available for streaming in Prime Video.
