Kanye West claimed Don Lemon “started the rumor” that his wife, Bianca Censori, was kicked out of the Grammys 2025 for her revealing look.
“This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies [sic],” he captioned a photo via Instagram of Lemon smiling Monday.
“3 decades of innovating music and they always KOONS like this.”
After West’s post, Lemon took to Instagram to address the Yeezy founder’s claims.
“First of all, Kanye … Ye, whatever your name is. I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it. I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere,” he said in a video posted on Instagram Monday.
“Get your s–t straight. You, of all people, calling me a coon? … That ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”
Page Six has reached out to Lemon for comment but did not immediately hear back.
When the “Donda” emcee and his wife arrived on the red carpet of the Grammys Sunday, the former CNN host interviewed him.
“Kanye, when is ‘Bully’ gonna come out?” the journalist asked, referring to West’s forthcoming album.
“Ye,” the dad of four replied. “I changed my name to Ye. Soon, this year, though.”
In a second video, Lemon attempted to ask West another question, but it didn’t go as well.
“Kanye, the number one artist you want to put on right now?” Lemon, 58, asked Ye, who replied, “Give me a second. I’m focused.”
West then told a member of his team that he did not want to do any interviews that night.
“No interviews from @ye at The Grammys tonight…,” Lemon captioned his Instagram post of the awkward encounter.
Once Censori, 30, and West, 47, made their way down the red carpet, the model took off her coat to unveil that she was wearing nothing but a sheer dress and clear flip-flop heels to music’s biggest night.
The former Yeezy architect posed with her backside to the photogs before turning around to expose her entire front — without undergarments — in a see-through minidress.
Entertainment Tonight initially claimed the couple, who tied the knot in December 2022, had been thrown out of the event due to Censori’s risqué attire, or lack thereof.
“ET has learned that the rapper, his wife, and an entourage of about five people showed up to the Grammys uninvited,” the outlet posted and deleted via Instagram Sunday night.
“Kanye walked the red carpet with Bianca, who appeared to be fully naked under her fur coat. ET was told that the couple was then escorted out of the awards show.”
Lemon later shared a video on Instagram, saying that the Grammy winner and Censori were not kicked out of the award show and were invited.
“We saw a spokesperson for Kanye and that spokesperson said Kanye was indeed invited, they said that’s a fact, and that he was not kicked out. That is what they are saying on Kanye’s side,” he said in an Instagram video.
“So this is Don Lemon, reporting the tea from the Grammys.”
