Kanye West and Bianca Censori reportedly argued on the 2025 Grammys red carpet moments before she dropped her coat to reveal a see-through dress.

Social media star Riley Mae Lewis, who was standing close to the couple during music’s biggest night, told the UK Sun Monday that the Australian model, 30, “did not look like she wanted to be there” as they waited to step in front of photographers.

“I thought they might’ve been arguing or something,” the 20-year-old told the outlet, adding, “She didn’t look like was fully onboard with the scandal he wanted to create on the carpet.”

Lewis, who boasts 1.5 million followers on TikTok, shared that the “energy between the two seemed off, and a lot of people on the carpet thought the exact same thing.”

“It makes me concerned for what their relationship is like behind the scenes,” she noted.

The influencer went so far as to claim West, 47, gave her a “flirty look even though Bianca was right next to him,” calling the interaction “weird.”

Despite Censori seemingly not wanting “to be there,” Lewis said West “looked like he was loving the attention, knowing the publicity it would later bring him.

“Now seeing everything that is going on with Kanye’s wild rants, it makes sense, possibly this is what led to the downfall of Kanye on [X],” she commented, referencing West’s antisemitic tirade on the social media platform last week.

“This all was definitely planned, no doubt.”

On Feb. 2, West and Censori made their first red carpet appearance together since tying the knot in December 2022.

Although the former Yeezy architectural designer pulled up to the event in a floor-length faux fur coat, she quickly shocked photographers and attendees alike when she turned her back to the cameras and exposed her bare body.

A day later, a lip reader claimed to the Daily Mail that the “Donda” rapper had commanded Censori to start “making a scene,” seemingly confirming Lewis’ claims.

Although Censori shook her head several times in apparent protest, Ye allegedly convinced her by saying, “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.”

A body language expert also claimed Censori showed “fear” moments before she dropped her coat in front of snapping cameras.

Since then, many have expressed concern for Censori’s well-being, including Elizabeth Chambers, Alyssa Farrah Griffin and Meghan McCain, the latter of whom called her a “hostage.”

West further concerned netizens when he went on an antisemitic rant last Friday and also addressed claims that he controls his wife.

After admitting that he has “dominion” over Censori, he added in part, “People say the red carpet look was her decision. Yes I don’t make her do nothing she doesn’t want to but she definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without my approval, you stupid ass woke pawns.”

Nonetheless, West’s rep recently told the Hollywood Reporter that the only person “controlling” what Censori does is Censori herself.

“The ‘battered Bianca’ narrative is hysterical and absurd,” Milo Yiannopoulos told the outlet Monday.

The spokesperson also insisted Censori is “the guiding creative intelligence and impetus behind the way she dresses.” However, he conceded that West is the “final boss.”
