Kandi Burruss is sharing insight on her shocking divorce from her husband of 11 years, Todd Tucker.

During an Amazon Live on Monday, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 49, explained that it’s “a pretty crazy time” for her right now.

“I’m gonna be very honest with you — I am up and down. Obviously, going through a divorce is definitely not the easiest thing. Sometimes you’re cool, you’re moving, you’re mixing, you’re moving, you’re hanging out with friends,” she said.

“But then sometimes you have your moments of sadness. And me being the Taurus that I am, I like to keep those moments to myself. When I was on ‘Housewives,’ I really couldn’t keep moments to myself when I got upset, so y’all would catch me crying, but real life, my everyday life, I don’t really like for those moments to be shared with the world.”

Although she filed the paperwork last Friday, the singer-songwriter disclosed that “this is something that has been brewing for a while.”

She added, “So all the times you’ve been seeing me online [all smiles] means nothing. I’ve been going through it, child. I’ve been going through it. Life has been life-ing me.”

Burruss said she’s holding up “as good as [she] can be,” confessing that it’s “hard” when she reads comments about her situation on social media by people who are “making their own narrative of what’s going on.”

She’s admittedly “all over the place” these days.

However, the Grammy winner emphasized that she has “no regrets” about her 14-year relationship with Tucker, 52, with whom she shares “two wonderful, beautiful children”: son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 6.

“Sometimes things don’t work out. It just is what it is,” she added, noting that the former couple’s kids are “doing well.”

In fact, Burruss claimed that she and the producer are on the same page about prioritizing their children as they “make this transition” by “keeping it very friendly.”

“We are having Thanksgiving [together] this week.
We both were at [Blaze’s recent] birthday party
to support our baby girl, and we are gonna continue to keep that same good energy going for our kids. That is our goal,” she shared.

The musician also informed an inquiring fan that she would not be inviting her outspoken mother, “Mama Joyce” Jones — who has never approved of Tucker — to her “Speak On It” YouTube series because Jones “might speak too much.”

Reps for Tucker did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
