Kaia Gerber has well and truly put any BBL speculation to rest, giving fans a glimpse into how she maintains her enviable figure through her workouts with celebrity trainer Kirsty Godso.
The actress took to her Instagram Stories to pen a special tribute to her trainer on her milestone day. The photograph showed Kaia dressed in a black sports bra and matching micro shorts, paired with crisp white sneakers. She sat on a gym bench while Kirsty squatted beneath her, capturing a candid moment from their workout session.
“Happy birthday to my literal wife my human resistance band & the woman who gets me bbl allegations. I just couldn’t love you more @kirstygodso,” Kaia penned alongside the snap.
Kirsty has a signature high-intensity workout style, with a combination of yoga, strength, and cardio. “One of the best ways to get toned is to incorporate resistance training. If you don’t have access to weights or a gym, you can incorporate bands or just follow along using just bodyweight at home,” Kirsty told Hollywood Life.
Kirsty’s routine blends resisted glute bridges, lateral lunges, deadlifts, planks, mountain climbers, and drop squats.
“She redefines what hard work looks like. Never not smiling while I throw anything her way – even sprints on the curve with the weight vest,” the trainer wrote about Kaia on Instagram. “Kaia is known for many things but for me, she’s a better dose of energy than a morning cup of coffee. Not even mad that at top speed she can out sprint me on the curve treadmill these days because she deserves it. In and out of the gym she is the brightest star who makes everyone’s day better just from being in close orbit.”
Kirst has her very own website that features routines that can be completed at home or in the gym. The series of at-home workouts includes signature strength, sweat, sculpt, and stretch classes that differ in length, intensity, and equipment options.
“Pyro is all about energy, a force and fire within you,” she told Vogue. “You are the fire. Without being cringe, it’s just about feeling lit up in yourself and confident.”
Kaia Gerber’s comments on disordered eating
The post comes after Kaia opened up about her struggles with disordered eating during an interview with Vogue. “I’ve had disordered eating in my life. People are like, ‘You look terrible,’ and it doesn’t exactly make you go, ‘Oh, good. Let me get over this mental illness then!” she told the outlet. “Negativity has never saved someone’s life.”
“We’re clearly in one of those cycles right now where people are very, very, very thin. As someone who’s been thin most of my life, I’ve always been compared against my mom – like, ‘What’s wrong with Kaia?'”
She continued, “I’m so jealous of my mom’s body. I would have loved to be born with boobs and a butt. People have always commented on my body, which is hard because I’m not always ready to comment on my own body, you know?”
