Kai Trump and Travis Kelce chatted it up during the TGL golf league match, which took place in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on March 3.
During the competitive tournament, the Jupiter Links Golf Club played against The Bay Golf Club.
The duo was spotted talking together at the event in one fan’s video online, as Kai was seen giggling.
The pair also took pictures inside the Palm Beach State College’s SoFi Center alongside family members Chloe Sophia Trump and Tristan Milos Trump, and she shared the carousel of shots on her social media.
Travis went for a casual look with a matching olive-green sweatsuit set, white sneakers and a white cap.
Kai rocked a business casual look with a white blazer, grey denim, white sneakers and a Louis Vuitton purse, and she captioned the pic: “Playoffs bound.”
Context behind their interaction
Besides being a football player, Travis is also Taylor Swift’s fiancée and Donald Trump is Kai’s grandfather, which makes the duo’s recent interaction noteworthy.
In August, Trump wrote on Truth Social: “Just look at Woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!). She was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT.”
Kai’s golf career
The 18-year-old got involved in the world of golf from a young age, and she began playing during her time at the Benjamin School.
She competed in the Women’s Club Championship in 2022, the Ladies Club Championships in 2024 and she also played in the American Junior Golf Association.

Kai’s personal struggles
The golfer revealed that the huge opportunity came with massive anxiety that she struggled with.
She shared: “The first day, I’ve never been more nervous in my entire life. That was like the RNC times 30. It was very nerve-wracking for the nerves. I played well the first day and then the second day, went out there. I’m like ‘No more [nerves],’ the nerves weren’t as bad,” per Fox News Channel’s My View with Lara Trump.
Kai added: “And then I did really well. So, I mean, it was a great experience. I’m thankful for the, obviously, the opportunity.”

She revealed: “It really just came down to the coaches. I love the program and I also didn’t want to be so far away from home, because I don’t know, I love coming back home and I love our family, right? I love Florida … Obviously, the school’s great academics. And the team was awesome. And yeah, I mean it was just a place I wanted to be.”
