Hartley and Pernas met on The Young & the Restless around 2015-2016, but it wasn’t until 2020 that Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that the pair had begun dating. They later tied the knot in 2021, confirming their marriage by making their red carpet debut while wearing rings on their left ring fingers at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Pernas and Hartley have been in marital bliss ever since, often showcasing their love for one another on various red carpets. In January 2026, the couple appeared together at the Critics Choice Awards, where they coordinated in black outfits.
