Savannah Guthrieâs return to NBCâs TODAY on Monday, August 10 after taking a break to film in the United Kingdom has already gotten off to a hysterical start.
The NBC News mainstay, 54, had a candid moment on screen during the showâs latest broadcast on Tuesday, August 11, while her co-anchor Craig Melvin reported on President Trumpâs alleged use of a military jet to leave Turkey.
However, during his report, a soft but noticeable quick two sneezes from Savannah could be heard to the side, which Craig couldnât resist addressing during the show.
As you can watch in the video above, the anchor, 47, jokingly put his co-host on blast, starting with: âJust a moment to clarify something that happened here on the air a few moments ago.â
Savannah mockingly defended herself and protested that it wasnât that loud, but the joke stretched on to the extent that she even received a text at home from her husband Michael Feldman, which left her co-anchors in hysterics. âHe knows my brand!â the mom-of-two quipped.
Savannah took a few weeks off from TODAY to fly to Manchester to film the entire first season of the upcoming NBC game show Wordle, an adaptation of the popular The New York Times daily online puzzle. Jimmy Fallon is executive producing the series, which is likely to air in early 2027.
