Josie Gibson joined Weight Watchers as an ambassador in 2021

Following the birth of her son Reggie-James in 2018, Josie, 41, revealed that she steadily gained weight while navigating the sleep-deprived early days of motherhood. By 2021, she was ready to make a change and joined Weight Watchers

She said at the time: “It is a new way of approaching my wellbeing. I need a lifestyle change. I’ve got a two-year-old, so I don’t sleep a lot and I’ve got myself in a pattern where when I’m tired I eat rubbish food. I need more structure but one that fits with my busy lifestyle. I know if I am following WW and tracking my food, sleep and activity, I will feel more accountable.”

Motsi Mabuse also joined Weight Watchers as an ambassador in 2021

Motsi, 44, joined Weight Watchers at a similar time to Josie – and for a similar reason. When she was two years postpartum with her daughter in 2021, she wanted to get her wellness back on track.

She said at the time: “It took me a while after pregnancy to get my body back. The most important thing is not to put pressure on yourself to lose weight quickly after the birth. Each body and feel-good weight is different. Every woman should do what is right for her. At Weight Watchers, I decide the rate at which I want to lose weight. It’s ideal for mothers, because having a baby tends to turn your life upside down.”

Alison Hammond was named a Weight Watchers ambassador in 2019

Alison, 51, joined Weight Watchers in 2019 in a bid to prioritise her wellbeing. Her busy life as a presenter and mum-of-one meant that, oftentimes, eating healthy took a backseat, she revealed at the time. 

She said: “I feel rubbish when I don’t eat properly or exercise and Weight Watchers helps me with what I eat and do. I want my journey to empower others to think about making changes to their lifestyle to become the best version of themselves.
