Joshua Jackson is making waves with his costars on Doctor Odyssey.

The Nov. 7 episode of Jackson’s latest venture, Ryan Murphy’s Doctor Odyssey, ended with the actor having a threesome with his two colleagues Avery (Phillipa Soo) and Tristan (Sean Teale).

Jackson’s character, Max, accidentally introduced the idea after asking for five life goals from Avery and Tristan over a few bottles of champagne one night.

Tristan was the one to bring the activity up in conversation after he said that falling in love, “like a forever kind of love,” is on his bucket list.

“Before the dog, before the marriage, before the kids, [I want to] have a three-way,” Tristan said, shocking Avery, who pointed out that he has a girl at “every port” the luxury cruise ship stops at.

“They’re really difficult to organize,” Tristan admitted.

When it came time for Avery’s bucket list, a threesome was the last item on her list, and the trio then headed into Max’s cabin for a nightcap, where he shared some of his own aspirations, including getting married and having a family.

Tristan lamented that none of his boss’ answers were very fun, which then prompted Max to admit he’s already had a threesome — and while he made a “pact” never to share the details, he said his two partners were more interested in each other than in him.

Avery then suggested he add having a “good threesome” to his bucket list to make up for his prior experience, and Max relented, adding that to his list.

The trio’s buzz then seemed to set in, and Avery declared, “I mean, I’m game,” to which Tristan said, “Yeah, right, Avery.”

“What? It’s on all of our lists,” she said, before putting her drink down and welcoming an eager Tristan, who quickly joined her on the couch.

After watching his two colleagues make out for a second, Avery pushed Tristan off her and began kissing Max, while Tristan embraced her from behind.

The episode ended abruptly, with what was to come between the trio only hinted at and not fully explored.

The eventful episode also featured Kelsea Ballerini and marked her scripted TV debut. She played an over-the-top bride, Lisa, whose groom tragically jumped overboard before their wedding day.

In a post on Instagram commemorating the role, Ballerini, 31, shared a carousel of photos from the set — including a hilarious video with her onscreen mom, played by Margo Martindale — and wrote in the caption, “Screamed, cried, threw up. thank you so much for having me (Lisa).”
