Josh Allen is racking up accolades â and all with fiancĂ©e Hailee Steinfeld by his side!
The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, was named the NFLâs 2025 Most Valuable Player at the NFL Honors on Thursday, Feb. 6, the leagueâs top award. After his name was called, Allen turned to Steinfeld, also 28, for a kiss before walking up to accept the trophy.
Allenâs fiancĂ©e was the âlast but not leastâ in his speech, telling her, âYouâve been my rock, youâre my best friend. I would not be standing on the stage if it werenât for you.â
Allen also thanked his fellow nominees in his speech â Ravens QB Lamar Jackson, Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, Bengals QB Joe Burrow and Lions QB Jared Goff â along with the entire Bills organization, before honoring his parents, who were in the audience with tears in their eyes.
âIâd like to thank Joel and Lavonne, my parents who, in my 20-plus years of playing football, going down to Pop Warner, I bet you they missed maybe 15 games in their entire life,â Allen said.
âThey are so dedicated to supporting me and my favorite teammates, who are my sister and my brother and my little sister: Nicala, Jason, Makenna. Thank you guys for all the support, all the time money, energy wasted growing up and going from meet to game to practice, every day. I love you guys. I know you take a lot of pride in this as well.â
Allen had threw for 28 touchdowns this season and 3,731 yards, while leading Buffalo to a 13-4 season. He and the Bills had hoped to finally win the AFC Championship and make it back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994, but once again could not beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.
Allen popped the question to Steinfeld in November, and the two announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post, a rarity for the typically-private couple. In the post, they shared a romantic photo of Allen down on one knee in front of Steinfeld, with both surrounded by an arch of pink and red roses next to a body of water. They captioned the post simply, with: âŸïž 11âą22âą24 âŸïž.
Allen and Steinfeldâs appearance at the NFL Honors marked their red carpet debut. Steinfeld wore a strapless black velvet gown and black pointed-toe pumps, and topped off the look with a diamond choker necklace, diamond stud earrings â along with her new engagement ring.
Allen, meanwhile, wore a sleek black suit with a white shirt and black tie, and sweetly leaned in to pose with Steinfeld.
