Bells will ring!
Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns announced their engagement on Christmas Day.
The couple shared sweet photos from the festive proposal on Instagram Thursday, cleverly captioning the joint post, âMarry Christmas đâ€ïžđ.â
The New York Knicks player, 30, got down on one knee and presented Woods with a massive emerald-cut diamond engagement ring.
Woods, 28, was seen smiling from ear to ear in total shock after saying âYesâ to spending the rest of her life with the athlete.
Photos showed the lovebirds hugging and kissing while celebrating the next milestone in their relationship.
Their engagement unfolded on the rooftop of New York City hotspot Overstory, which offered beautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge.Â
Woods was dressed for the cold weather in a large white shearling coat layered over a cream gown.
She accessorized with pointed-toe heels and went with a very bridal manicure and an updo.
Towns, for his part, looked stylish in a brown suede jacket layered over a collared shirt and striped tie with black pants.
They were joined by family members for the occasion and posed for photos with their loved ones.
Her younger sister, Jodie Woods, celebrated the happy news by sharing photos on her Instagram Story, gushing that it was âthe most beautiful evening.â
Following his proposal, the pair celebrated their love with some nice bottles of wine.
Earlier in the day, Towns helped lead the Knicks in defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden, 126â124.
Hours before the announcement, Jordyn expressed her deep gratitude in an Instagram Story post, which read, âGod thank you for everythiiiiiiiiing!!!!!â
Jordyn and Towns started dating in 2020 after meeting through mutual friends.
They celebrated their five-year anniversary in May. At the time, Towns was playing in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals.
âThe focus today is the playoffs!!!â Jordyn wrote on her Instagram Story at the time.
âBut happy 5 years to us⊠time has just flown by but as also felt like weâve been together forever!â
Jordyn is often seen cheering for Towns at his NBA games, most recently when the Knicks beat the Spurs in Las Vegas earlier this month.
They have been serious for quite some time now and even purchased a $14 million home in Los Angeles last September.
