Jonas Brothers appeared to pay tribute to the late Liam Payne at a recent concert.
During their show in Highland, Calif. on Sunday, Nov. 11, the trio covered One Directionâs 2014 hit âNight Changesâ nearly a month after Liam Payne died at age 31.
Per fan-captured footage, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas slowed their set down for a stirring rendition of the track.
Nick, 32, kicked off the track singing and strumming his acoustic guitar.
âGoinâ out tonight, changes into somethinâ red / Her mother doesnât like that kind of dress /Everything she never had, sheâs showinâ off,â he began.
Kevin, 37, also played the acoustic guitar as Joe, 35, alternated vocals with Nick. The trio came together to harmonize throughout the song.
Payne died on Oct. 16 following a fall from a third-floor balcony of a Buenos Aires hotel.
The former One Direction memberâs toxicology report, shared on Nov. 7, revealed that he had traces of âalcohol, cocaine and prescription antidepressantsâ in his body, according to the press release translated from Spanish.
âThis conclusion was reached after the complete toxicology tests on urine, blood and vitreous humour,â the press release stated
Sources confirmed to ABC News on Oct. 21 that a partial autopsy revealed Payne had âmultiple substances in his systemâ at the time of his death. Per ABCâs reporting, one of the substances found was âpink cocaine,â a recreational drug that generally includes a combination of methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA â and not necessarily cocaine â according to the National Capital Poison Center.
The insiders also told the publication that âan improvised aluminum pipeâ used to ingest drugs was found in Payneâs hotel room.

The suspects were charged with abandonment of a person followed by death as well as supply and facilitation of narcotics. However, they have not been named.
Since Payneâs death, other artists have paid tribute to the late singer. Maggie Rogers also covered One Directionâs âNight Changesâ during her concert on Oct. 17, while Shawn Mendes dedicated his track âHeart of Goldâ to Payne during his Oct. 18 show.
