Bang bang.
Jessie J labeled ex-boyfriend Channing Tatum a âbeastâ in a scathing new song off her forthcoming album, âDonât Tease Me With A Good Time,â according to The Sun.
The pop star revealed the savage âThrew It Awayâ lyrics during a recent listening party in West London â and made it clear she was singing about the actor, whom she dated between 2018 and 2020.
âThis next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder,â the Grammy nominee told audience members, âand you can figure out who I was dating.â
Jessie, 37, proceeded to sing about a relationship becoming âuncomfortableâ after she âput [her] heart on the table.â
She crooned, âBut oh that karma is gonna come one day / âCause I gave you my love and you threw it away.â
Elsewhere in the song, the performer added, âDonât you dare rewrite the story / Iâm the beauty, youâre the beast.â
Reps for Jessie and Tatum did not immediately respond to Page Sixâs requests for comment.
The former couple had an on-again, off-again romance after meeting in 2018, calling it quits the following year and reconciling in early 2020.
When the duo broke up for good months later, People reported that their dynamic was âamicable.â
Jessie even posted for Tatumâs 40th birthday after they parted ways, labeling the âSheâs the Manâ star âspecialâ and âone of a kindâ in her Instagram tribute.
Jessie moved on with professional basketball player Chanan Colman in 2021, and the couple welcomed a son the following year.
Jessie, who is currently battling breast cancer, has not shared the 3-year-oldâs name publicly.
As for Tatumâs love life post-split, he got engaged to ZoĂ« Kravitz in 2023, but the âBlink Twiceâ co-stars ended things the next year.
