Jessica Alba reportedly thought it was “hard to keep the spark” alive in her marriage to Cash Warren.
Following the news of their separation and impending divorce, a source told People on Wednesday that they are still friends and “all about the kids.”
“No matter what’s going on right now, it seems they will remain close,” the insider added. “If they’re filing for divorce, it’s not because of some hateful drama. They still look happy together.”
Page Six has reached out to their respective reps for comment. Neither Alba nor Warren have commented on their reported split.
The “Honey” actress, 43, and the film producer, 45, have been married since 2008. They got together after meeting on the set of “Fantastic Four” in 2004.
They share three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.
A TMZ report about their looming divorce came just a week after the family of five was all smiles at Universal Studios to celebrate Hayes’ birthday.
Furthermore, Alba shared photos with Warren and their kids on both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
However, the “Trigger Warning” star has been seen without her wedding ring in recent paparazzi sightings.
Alba previously hinted at trouble in paradise in July 2021 when she compared her marriage to being “roommates.”
“It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates,” she said on Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Instagram show, “Before, During and After Baby.”
“You’re just going through the motions. You have the responsibilities. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?”
Alba also admitted to sometimes taking her relationship with Warren for granted.
“We have, like, obviously the friendship, the comfort of, like, ‘You’re not going anywhere,’ and so sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, right?” she said.
“You don’t consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people’s feelings. So that is something that I think is a constant one to work on.”
