It may be 2025, but Jennifer Lopez is looking back to 1998.
The singer, 55, rang in the new year by re-creating her “Waiting for Tonight” music video in a body-hugging green Tom Ford gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.
Lopez took to Instagram to share a slow-motion clip of herself dancing to the hit song in front of large leaves as the wind blew through her hair.
“Waiting For Tonight, 2025,” the actress and musician captioned the post.
“Iconic recreation💚,” said one follower. Another added, “WATCH OUT 2025 HERE WE COME”
Meanwhile, a third user joked, “Me anytime I pass by the plant section @loweshomeimprovement”
Her post from the end of 2024 could actually be a throwback video, as J. Lo wore the same shimmery look for friend Pia Miller’s birthday gathering in Oct. 2023, which she attended with then-husband Ben Affleck.
“Date Night 🤍,” Lopez captioned a photo of the gown on Instagram at the time.
It’s no secret that Lopez has an affinity for green looks, in general.
In fact, the mother of two’s engagement ring from Affleck was an 8.5-carat diamond in the punchy shade.
“[Green is] my favorite color; it’s also my lucky color,” Lopez said in a video shared on her “On the JLo” newsletter in 2022.
“Obviously, it’ll be my lucky color forever now. It means so much when somebody thinks about you and loves you and sees you,” Lopez added. “And it was just the most perfect moment.”
On Monday, the “Unstoppable” star shared a 2024 recap video on Instagram, which included special moments from the year, like her Met Gala look and scenes from her documentary “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story.”
However, followers noticed Affleck was nowhere to be seen in the clip.
Lopez filed for divorce after two years of marriage in August 2024.
Last month, a source exclusively told Page Six that the former couple are planning on staying “connected” post-divorce.
“They have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved,” the insider said.
“Ben and Jennifer are still connected and they do communicate when it involves their kids.”
